Participation in the educational and scientific activities organized during the year, reported in the “Didactics” section of the site, is mandatory (the educational programs of the last 10 years are available on the site)
During the third year, the PhD student is invited to report to the Colleagues of course about the research work aimed at the thesis, in a laboratory to which PhD students of the same address and the teachers of similar SSDs participate.
PhD students have frequently contacts with research contexts and with scholars outside the University, and these educational and scientific experiences are taken into account within the overall doctoral training.
During the PhD course, the Faculty Board evaluates periodically, also in order to validate the passage to the following year, the level of training acquired by doctoral students and their scientific maturity as well as the elaboration, under the guidance of the Tutor, of original research contributions by the doctoral students themselves.
